FOREMAN SPOTLIGHT – OCTOBER 2023

Dustin Namack began his journey with Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal in 1996, following the footsteps of his father, who was a foreman in the roofing division. While attending college, Dustin worked on the weekends and during summers to earn some extra spending money. His first project was The Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, but the project that stands out the most is WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The Children’s Hospital is Dustin’s most memorable and challenging project because it required an extraordinary amount of detailed work, and the daily planning was very intense. “I was very proud of my crew for getting this completed with quality,” Dustin said. He is currently working on Liberty High School in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where the roofing is nearing its final stages.

For Dustin, the most rewarding aspect of being a foreman is developing relationships and working closely with coworkers. “I’m a very team-oriented guy, and I like leading individuals to reach a goal. I’m competitive to a fault, and this job allows me different goals to compete to achieve,” he said.

Off the clock, Dustin cherishes his family life in Martins Ferry, Ohio, where he resides with his wife, their 11-year-old son, 18-month-old daughter, and a 3-month-old baby. His free time revolves around his girls and cheering on his son at sporting events.

Dustin Namack exemplifies the commitment and enthusiasm that sets our KRSM team apart, and we’re honored to have him on board for so many years!

THE RETURN OF KRSM BOOTCAMPS

This fall, Kalkreuth has reintroduced KRSM Bootcamps! These lunch sessions are opportunities for team members from all divisions and departments to review the fundamentals of our company – from securing a job to installing material.

We want to thank VP of Estimating Chad McLeish and Engineering Manager Rich Sunyoger for organizing these Bootcamps and helping our team members learn and grow!

WHEELING CHAMBER LUNCH WITH LEADERS

On October 10th, some Wheeling team members attended the Wheeling Chamber‘s ‘Lunch with Leaders’ event at the White Palace. The event’s highlight was the inspiring speech by United States Senator Shelley Moore Capito!
