This month’s featured foreman is Ismael Tejeda with our Maryland division. Ismael began working at KRSM in 2011, drawn by the opportunity to improve work and benefit conditions, and seeking a change of pace from working with the same people for an extended period.
Among the most remarkable and challenging projects he has worked on was the National Museum of the Army, which stood out due to its large scale and high-profile nature. Currently, Ismael is engaged in the Douglas MacArthur Elementary School project, which is progressing well despite the usual challenges of new construction. As a foreman, the most rewarding aspect of his work lies in the open and constructive relationships he fosters with various project managers.
Throughout his career at KRSM, Ismael has learned valuable lessons in adapting to different project managers’ personalities and management styles. Ismael resides in Glen Burnie, Maryland, with his wife, Carmen, and they have four grown children. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, watching soccer, and vacationing at the beach.
