Project Description
Old Main at Bethany College is known as the heart of the campus, with roots dating back to 1858. While the building includes Commencement Hall and is used for lectures, presentations, dinners, concerts, and other special functions, it is a perfect example of collegiate Gothic architecture. Restorations on Old Main’s exterior began in 1976 and lasted until 1984, with additional repairs being made in 1999 to Kirkpatrick Hall of Life Sciences – an adjacent building.
