MARYLAND DIVISION “STEPS OUT”

JUNE 2016 — Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal’s Maryland division partnered with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Maryland Chapter for Step Out Frederick last year, one of Frederick’s largest fundraising events generating proceeds in excess of $250,000 for diabetes education, research, and advocacy.

In the premier issue of Progress magazine, a publication co-produced by the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and the Frederick News-Post, the Maryland team was featured in their team shirts from the walk.

“We were looking to be involved in fundraising in a corporate way and thought the ADA walk would be a great cause to support,” said Maryland Division VP David Hesse. “We’re looking forward to this year’s walk on October 9.”
