Franklin Park Renovation

The city and federal officials have committed that everyone will have access to Franklin Park regardless of residential status. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser says the park stands as a defining landmark in the city. The Kalkreuth team faced a few challenges along the way, including reopening Franklin Park before completing the job, adding the challenge of maintaining safe foot traffic for nearby parkgoers, and using ACM panels to create a hairline joint increased the job’s complexity.
