University of Virginia Hospital Expansion
The University of Virginia Hospital Expansion, completed in 2020, is the largest expansion in UVA University Health System history. The 440,000-square-foot facility is dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare professional training while providing exceptional patient-centered care. The expansion aimed to increase capacity, reduce ER wait times, and convert shared rooms into private rooms.
