PAINT THE TOWN PINK!

On June 18th, Kalkreuth was a sponsor for Crittenton Services ‘ Paint the Town Pink: Wild and Wonderful Women event. Members of our Wheeling and Residential office – Carol Cornforth, Josh Wack, and Whitney Wack – attended the Wheeling Heritage Port and Amphitheater event.

Since 1895, Crittenton Services has been making a difference in the lives of women, children, and families in the Ohio Valley. All proceeds from Paint the Town Pink benefits residential and behavioral health services to children and families throughout West Virginia.

HIGHLANDS SPORTS COMPLEX RECEIVES WELL CERTIFICATION

The Highlands Sports Complex is a 180,000-square-foot state-of-the-art sports facility located at The Highlands in Triadelphia, WV. East Coast and Kalkreuth worked together on this project. Kalkreuth installed 10,700 square feet of our Rainscreen EC-200 System. This complex is designed to host indoor and outdoor events such as tournaments and programs.

The Sports Complex recently received a Silver Level WELL Building Certification, making it the 1st WELL Certified Sports Facility in the United States! WELL Certifications are earned when projects demonstrate all Preconditions, and the HSC meets 100% of the Preconditions applicable!

NATIONAL ROOFING WEEK 2022

June 5th through June 11th was the NRCA’s National Roofing Week. Here at Kalkreuth, we look forward to this week and always love to participate! National Roofing Week is designed to appreciate the men and women who dedicate their hard work to ensuring clients’ safety and peace of mind. GOLF SCRAMBLE

June 3rd was a beautiful day for the Ohio Valley Oil and Gas Association scramble at the Moundsville Country Club! Eric Starkowicz from the OVCEC , Jeff Haught from EQT, Nathan Butts from ProMedica Medical Management , and KRSM Director of HR & Safety Seth Abraham participated as a team in the scramble. The proceeds from the event benefit Energy Education Events.

COLUMBUS TRAINING

On May 24th, Sarnafil held a training at the Columbus office. Matt Hudak, Columbus Project Manager, learned how to fabricate and weld pipe boots with the help of Eduardo Franco-Rodriguez and Guadalupe Gurdardo.

Training is essential not only for the field crews. Learning new applications and how things work can help us better under what goes on on a job and how to help improve productivity.

CLAY SHOOT

On May 19th, Kalkreuth was a hole sponsor for the Kentucky Roofing Contractors Association Clay Shoot in Brooks, KY. Chase Cupryk, Project Manager, and Justin Spillman, Estimator, particapted in the clay shoot.

IT’S NOT EVERY DAY YOU MEET A MOUNTAINEER!

On May 10th, the Mountaineer Athletic Club Coaches Caravan’s first stop was at River City in Wheeling. Members of the Kalkreuth team had the pleasure of listening to coaches and staff. They also got to meet Mary the Mountaineer. Kalkreuth is a proud sponsor of West Virginia University!

2022 EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

On May 7th, our Residential/Service Division had their annual luncheon at the Wheeling Park Bandstand supplied by ABC Supply and Owens Corning. The whole team enjoyed BBQ from Hangover BBQ in Wheeling, and the roofers had the chance to win prizes such as tools, shirts, and other gear. This is a small token of gratitude for our crews’ hard work anddedication throughout the year.
