NATIONAL SAFETY WEEK 2022

May 1st through May 7th was National Safety Week. As part of the company culture at Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, a commitment to safety is our number one priority and responsibility. Throughout the year, Kalkreuth holds many trainings, including fall prevention training. Falls can be prevented with the proper equipment and training.
“Consistently, 34-39% of construction fatalities are from falls. Each year, falls account for the greatest number of fatalities in the construction industry, especially with small businesses. On average, nearly 400 workers are killed and more than 10,000 are injured as a result of falls in the construction industry each year.” – Associated General Contractors of America

In March, Geoff Wack, one of our estimators at Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, who fixed a fallen downspout from the First United Methodist Church in Bellaire on March 8th.
