February 20th through the 26th was National Engineering Week. Kalkreuth is proud of the men and women in our Engineering Department who have dedicated themselves to finding innovative solutions for every project we have. Kalkreuth is grateful for their expertise! We wanted to celebrate our excellent Engineering Department and those with engineering degrees throughout our company!
At the end of February, Wheeling Estimators Geoff Wack and Eric Haverty donated their time to help the St. Clairsville Food Pantry. Ohio Valley Metal Roofing donated materials. Geoff and Eric installed the new snow guard system for the food pantry. Thank you to Ben Bintz at Ohio Valley Metal Roofing for the materials!
On February 23rd through the 25th, Kalkreuth held the 2022 annual PM & Estimating meeting at Oglebay in Wheeling, WV. The training included teaming building, Dewalt, NRCA, Hahn Losser, Versico, IMA, and more. A huge thank you to our sponsors and guest speakers! We look forward to 2023’s meeting.
Kalkreuth’s IT Director, Luke Redd, did a Procore training session with a few Wheeling foremen. This training was an introduction to Procore usage for field operations.
In February, Ryan Wear and Bill Storm from Kalkreuth’s Service and Residential office attended the ABC College of Knowledge at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA. The College of Knowledge was for networking and training. At the event, vendors showcased new products like lifetime algae-resistant shingles.
