As of April 2020, we are pleased to share with you all that Senior Engineer at Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal, Ed Calvert, has completed all of the required continuing education hours. Ed successfully renewed his LEED AP BD+C credentials and is now certified through 2022! Congratulations Ed!
Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal recently lent a helping hand during an Eagle Scout Community Project in Pittsburgh. The project was brought to our attention by Rob Nicholson of DPR Construction, whose son Alex is an Eagle Scout member. Our team donated standing seam roofing panels and flat sheets for the flashings on the dugouts at the local baseball field.
Rob Nicholson said, “You guys are awesome people. We can’t believe how nice it is. They all talked about the roof and they thought it would just be basic roofing.”
We are proud to see our youth making a difference and we are thrilled to have been able to assist Alex in his project. Keep up the good work, Alex!
KRSM celebrated National Women in Construction Week from March 1-7. We are so appreciative of all the hard work our employees put forth each and every day!
On March 7th, a handful of team members from KRSM’s Wheeling division attended the 10th Annual Catholic Charities Gala at Wheeling Park where Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal was a sponsor for the Shining A Light on Hope event. It was great to be a part of something so special in our community!
On March 6, KRSM held its most recent quarterly safety meeting. We would like to congratulate our crews that have received perfect scores on NARI safety inspections. Safety is our number one priority, so we want to give a big thank you to everyone for their hard work and participation!
On Thursday, February 20, KRSM held it’s 3rd Annual Project Managers’ Meeting at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV. Project Managers from our WV, MD, KY, OH, and PA offices were all in attendance.
Team members had a chance to network with one another and learn from our business partners and vendors. Thank you to Carlisle, Metal-Era, ATAS, NRCA, Hahn-Loeser and Ellis Consulting Group for your presentations. The KRSM team greatly benefited from your participation, and we are looking forward to next year’s meeting already!
On February 27, KRSM saw companies from all over the Greater Pittsburgh Area come together and celebrate the industry at the MBA Evening of Excellence event. We were grateful to have had the opportunity to be a sponsor and to catch up with everyone who attended!
A group of employees from KRSM attended the Ohio Roofing Contractors Association Working Tradeshow on February 26 in Columbus, Ohio. It was a day full of making connections and participating in events.
