OCTOBER 2018 – Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) held its first ever Estimating and Engineering Peer Group Meeting on October 2 and 3 at the Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The event was mandatory for all estimating and engineering personnel form KRSM’s five geographic locations and was designed to create a collaborative environment in which employees could discuss and implement best practices company-wide. The construction industry is constantly growing and changing, so it is important for the Kalkreuth team to be proactive with its efforts to grow and change along with it. KRSM estimators and engineers gladly and actively participated in this effort and expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to meet and collaborate with team members from other offices and learn about new products from our vendors across all of our markets.
Speakers included Steve Taylor from Knight Wall/Thornco, Ben Marnik from Centria, Mark Graham from the National Roofing Contractors Association. John Trifonoff from East Coast Metal Systems, Pete Eritano from Carlisle, Jim Glaze from American Hydrotech, Jen Marchesani from Shildan Group, Bill Spencer from Johns Manville/ Kemper System, Dan Vinet from Kalzip, and Matt Durrett from International Leak Detection.
We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to be a part of KRSM’s first Annual Estimating and Engineering Peer Group Meeting. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our dedicated team and valued vendor partners.
