MARCH 2016 — Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal’s Northeast Territory Safety Director Jeremy Dvorcek held an OSHA-required First Aid & CPR training at KRSM’s corporate headquarters—Kaley Center.
The training involved a total of 31 foremen over a 3 day period in 6 different sessions. All who were in attendance passed their First Aid & CPR Certifications, which are good for another two years.
“The OSHA requirement is that when a jobsite is more than 3-4 minutes travel distance away from medical care, there needs to be at least one certified CPR/First Aid person on site,” Jeremy said. “We require each of our foreman to remain certified so this never becomes an issue.”
