The Intergate Data Center Ashburn campus, developed by Sabey Data Centers, is one of five state-of-the-art facilities in the company’s portfolio. It is strategically located near Ashburn, Virginia. Often referred to as part of “Data Center Alley,” Ashburn is recognized as one of the most connected data center markets in the world, making it an ideal location for mission-critical infrastructure. The Intergate Ashburn facility sits on 38 acres and encompasses nearly 900,000 square feet. It reflects the scale and complexity required to support hyperscale and enterprise clients.

Kalkreuth played a key role in delivering the building envelope systems that protect this high-performance facility. The project included the installation of more than 120,000 square feet of modified bitumen roofing, a durable and resilient system well-suited for large-scale commercial and data center applications. Modified bitumen roofing provides exceptional waterproofing protection, multi-layer redundancy, and long-term performance. All of these features are essential for a mission critical facility that must maintain uninterrupted operations.

In addition to the roofing scope, Kalkreuth installed approximately 9,000 square feet of metal siding. This exterior cladding system enhances the building’s structural integrity while contributing to its modern, industrial aesthetic. The metal siding was carefully integrated with the roofing system to ensure a cohesive, weather-tight envelope capable of withstanding the environmental demands of Northern Virginia.

Through precise coordination, quality craftsmanship, and adherence to strict project timelines, Kalkreuth successfully delivered critical exterior components for Intergate Ashburn. The completed roofing and siding systems provide long-lasting durability and reliable protection, supporting the facility’s mission to deliver secure, continuous data services to clients across the globe.
