While serving over 27 million passengers, BWI Marshall Airport is the busiest airport in the region. It’s also named after the first African-American Supreme Court Justice – Thurgood Marshall. Not only was the BWI Marshall Airport B/C Connector constructed to connect concourses B and C, but it also brought BWI up to prescribed capacity and operational standards.
