QUARTERLY SAFETY MEETINGS

May 2017 – Last month, Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) divisions held their quarterly safety meetings and reviewed fall hazards and the importance of fall prevention. This also gave each division the opportunity to revisit all safety hazards, protective methods, and KRSM’s safety policies.

Last month also marked OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down Week May 8th through the 12th. The purpose of National Safety Stand-Down week was to raise fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries. Each division made sure to add information about the Stand-Down week into their meetings.

We are glad to have crews committed to their job and safety efforts. Thank you to the foremen and project managers who put together these meetings and all who attended and strive to keep Kalkreuth safe.
