Maryland Roofing Team Welcomes Visit from United Union of Roofers International President James Hadel in Washington, D.C.
It was an exciting day for our Maryland roofing team while working at The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union job site in Washington, D.C.
During the visit, James Hadel, International President of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers & Allied Workers, stopped by to connect with the crew and observe ongoing work at the project site.

His leadership within the union continued to grow when he was elected International Vice President of the United Union of Roofers in 1998. He later served in key national roles, including International Director of Marketing and Organizing and Director of Jurisdiction and Special Agreements.
In 2021, Hadel was elected International President of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers & Allied Workers and officially assumed office in 2022, continuing his commitment to supporting union roofers across North America.
