KALKREUTH JOINS ROOFTOP SNOW REMOVAL EFFORTS

JANUARY  2016 — Winter Storm Jonas brought roof collapses, leaks, and drainage sys-tem blockages to the Mid-Atlantic region. Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) mobilized to provide emergency snow removal services to the affected building owners during and after the storm. In some cases, our crews were working around the clock to re-move as much as 40” of snow from vulnerable rooftops.

“The entire Kalkreuth team came together for the blizzard of 2016,” added Maryland Division Service Manager Steve Cook. “We safely and successfully ran rooftop snow removal crews in PA, MD, DC, and VA. It was truly a corporate effort, and we demonstrated synergy from logistics and coordination to execution.”

Many areas were impacted by the significant snowfall and, with the help of everyone involved, we were able to efficiently and safely remove the snow from several roofs in the Philadelphia, PA area out of our WV division,” said Wheeling division Service Manager Shawn Snodgrass.
