Kalkreuth Celebrates National Roofing Week

Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal is proud to celebrate the return of National Roofing Week. This annual event recognizes the vital role the roofing industry plays in protecting homes, businesses, schools, hospitals, and critical infrastructure.

Hosted by the National Roofing Contractors Association, the week-long celebration took place June 7 to June 13, 2026, encouraging roofing contractors across the country to celebrate and support their local communities. National Roofing Week also shines a spotlight on the hardworking professionals who make it all possible. From skilled craftworkers and project managers to safety professionals and support staff, the week celebrates the people whose expertise strengthens communities both on and off the jobsite.

Kalkreuth was excited to once again participate. In Wheeling, WV, home of Kalkreuth’s headquarters, team members were treated to free smoothie bowls from local pop-up business, LaBowls. Later in the week, a group from the Wheeling office continued the celebration by spending an afternoon at Youth Services Systems’ (YSS) headquarters, helping organize clothes and miscellaneous items for their Sophie Moses Free Store (SMFS).

Meanwhile, Kalkreuth’s Frederick, Maryland division hosted a picnic for its team members, offering a fun half-day filled with games, giveaways, tacos, chalk art, and quality time together. Over in Columbus, Ohio, the team was treated to a lunch, catered by a local restaurant.

“National Roofing Week is a great time to reflect on the past year and celebrate our wins as a company,” said Mollie Smith, Warehouse Manager. “We had our 3rd annual picnic at the Maryland office, a time to eat, play soccer, and really appreciate the crews that put so much effort throughout the year into the success of our company. It allows for office staff and field crews to spend time together as well as enjoy giveaways and demos from some of our vendors that support us throughout the year.”
