JULY 2018 – Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) Maryland Division Vice President David Hesse participated in the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Summer Meetings.
The meetings took place July 10-14th at the NRCA Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois where approximately 300 people gathered from all across the country. Between committee meetings and research meetings, they were able to cover topics including OSHA’s new rules, training, safety, diversity, and the climate of the industry. “This time around, everyone felt as if the economy is good and there is plenty of work,” said David, “and it was a great opportunity for everyone to discuss common goals and problems across the industry.”
David is also a Vice Chairman of the NRCA. In 2010, he was nominated by his peers to become part of the board of directors, and in 2017 he was nominated to serve a two-year term with the executive board of directors. “This has turned into a great networking opportunity, and I am glad to be representing Kalkreuth within the highest levels of the NRCA,” said David.
