Project Description
With a vision of becoming the most sustainable energy company in the country, Dominion Energy provides reliable and affordable clean energy to 7 million customers.
Its Glen Allen, Virginia, location – standing since the 1980s – recently received over $100 million of phased renovations. The building received a 76,950-square-foot addition while teams faced challenges such as a global pandemic and avoiding disruption while the facility remained operational. In April 2023, the project was recognized by the Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate as the Best Large-Scale Office Project.
Teams completed 30% more scope in the same amount of time, incorporated sustainable improvements without increasing the overall energy load, and conducted electrical improvements without ever losing power.
