A New roof AT BURTONSVILLE Elementary School

Montgomery County Public Schools selected Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, a trusted commercial roofing contractor in Maryland, to deliver a high-performance roofing system for Burtonsville Elementary School in Burtonsville, Maryland. Working alongside general contractor Consigli Construction and MTFA Architecture, our Maryland team provided a complete roofing and sheet metal package designed to protect the school and its students for decades to come.

Project Scope & Roofing Systems Installed

The centerpiece of the project is 65,000 square feet of TPO roofing, a single-ply membrane well suited to large low-slope roof areas thanks to its energy-efficient reflective surface, heat-welded seams, and long-term resistance to weather and UV exposure.

The project also features 2,300 square feet of standing seam metal roofing, adding durability and a clean architectural profile to the building. To complete the roof edge and drainage system, our team installed 2,565 linear feet of coping along with a full system of gutters and downspouts.
