The Harrison County Courthouse- located on South Main and West Market Streets in Cadiz, Ohio – is one of seven places within Harrison County that are on the National Register of Historic Places. The other six places include:

  • Henry Law Farm Historic District

The courthouse was built between 1893-1895 and is named after the first president of the United States from Ohio – William Henry Harrison. Architect Joseph Yost utilized a Second Empire architectural style, seen through the high-arched windows, mansard-roofed towers, and central clock tower.
