Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal successfully completed a comprehensive roofing upgrade at the Northpoint Training Department of Corrections facility, delivering a durable, multi-system solution tailored to the facility’s diverse structural needs.

The project scope included the installation of approximately 65,000 square feet of SBS modified bitumen roofing, 5,000 square feet of PVC roofing, and 15,000 square feet of metal, creating a cohesive and high-performance building envelope across multiple roof sections. In addition, the team identified and replaced areas of deteriorated wood decking, ensuring a solid and reliable substrate for the new roofing systems.

Working within the operational constraints of a secure corrections environment, our team prioritized safety, coordination, and efficiency, maintaining strict compliance with facility protocols while minimizing disruption to daily operations.

The combination of SBS, PVC, and metal roofing provides a long-lasting, weather-resistant solution, improving durability, energy performance, and lifecycle value for the facility.
