MISTAKES BY METAL ROOFERS

FEBRUARY 2019 –  Metal Construction News published an article titled “Top Mistakes by Metal Roof Installers” in which Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal (KRSM) Vice President of Estimating Chad McLeish was quoted and provided advice on the ways to avoid metal roof installation errors.

“Zinc panels are an aesthetically appealing cladding option [but] require critical attention to detailing to minimize corrosion and/or deterioration of the material because an air layer is needed under the panels so that moisture has a means to exit the system,” said Chad.
