The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Business & Health Expo took place on March 3rd & 4th. This event was an excellent opportunity for the community to talk with our Residential Office and other local businesses within several industries. They even ran into Avon Cobourne – WVU’s all-time leading rusher!
On March 4th, Sarah Scrudders, Joe Doerr, and Lace French attended the Catholic Charities 2023 Gala, Shining a Light on Hope – which honored the 2023 Charity in Action Award recipients Crystal Bauer, Vickie Joseph, and Our Lady of Peace Parish and School.
February was jam-packed full of Career Fairs! Our HR department and various team members traveled to West Virginia University, Penn State University, The University of Akron, The Ohio State University, The University of Toledo, and Morehead State University to meet students and discuss potential internships, co-ops, and/or full-time positions.
We’re looking forward to meeting our summer interns!

Throughout the week, we spotlighted our team members on social media who are a part of our Engineering Departments and/or have educational backgrounds in the field. On February 23rd, James Hurley, Rachael Stevick, Josh Wack, and Steve Greene attended the MBA’s The Construction Industry Evening of Excellence. This annual event brings together the teams and leaders representing design professionals, engineering, organized labor, and contractors to celebrate the winning projects of the 2022 MBA Building Excellence Awards.
On February 22nd, Seth Abraham, Josh Wack, and Dan Tennant attended the OVCEC Annual Membership Meeting and heard Mitch Carmichael’s encouraging news! OVCEC provides networking, training, and educational opportunities to help its members grow!
