Once again, our local Johns Manville rep, REPS: Roofing & Exterior Products Services of Ohio, has awarded Kalkreuth the Pinnacle Award – an award annually given to the top 2% of JM’s contractor base.

April’s foreman spotlight is Chad Brandon with ECMS.
Chad has been with ECMS since 2009, when he was just 20 years old. He’s relatively new to being the shop foreman, but he worked in the field for five years before returning to the shop. Chad mentioned University Circle in Cleveland, Ohio, as one of his favorite jobs to work on while on the road.
“ECMS/Kalkreuth has been great to me for the past 14 years. I’ve learned a lot and met some really great guys over the years.”
Chad lives in St. Clairsville, Ohio, with his wife Christina, two kids, Mila Rose and Mason, and their dog Ace.

April’s MORE Award recipient is Whitney Wack! Sarah Scrudders nominated Whitney for MORE Customer Service and Satisfaction.
“As Kalkreuth’s only female project manager, Whitney consistently completes her jobs with a high GP and repeatedly receives the highest praise on her customer service/communication on the post-job surveys. Because of her diligence, enthusiasm, and positivity, Kalkreuth receives numerous repeat customers and job referrals. She is able to help multiple departments with her great customer service, including marketing and getting photos with customer approval.”

On April 27th, Wheeling Kalkreuth team members joined the Wheeling Area Chamber and the Marshall County Chamber for a Business After Hours event hosted by Carenbauer Distributing. This event was an excellent opportunity to network with members from fellow businesses while sampling new spring/summer brews!

On April 25th, the Ronald McDonald House Charities graciously gave Kalkreuth, Hunter Panels, and IB Roofing Systems team members a tour of its facility in Central Ohio – which will be one of the largest RMHs in the world! The members from Hunter and IB were lucky enough to see our crew install their donated material while touring the facility.
A huge thank you to the organization that makes this all possible – the Roofing Alliance – who has agreed to conduct regular roof inspections, perform repairs, and maintain involvement when a roof needs replaced! We cannot thank them enough for their continued commitment and for making it possible for Kalkreuth to be part of such an impactful, caring industry initiative!
Brendan Ball and Dave Hesse attended the National Roofing Contractors Association’s Roofing Day in DC from April 16th-17th!
“It was a great opportunity to have direct conversations with our congressmen in the states that we have offices. Not only to introduce Kalkreuth and network with elected officials but to talk about important issues that impact the roofing industry and our company,” Dave said.

Matt Gardner, KRSM’s Columbus Safety Specialist, passed his Construction Health and Safety Technician exam recently! The CHST certification demonstrates experience and expertise in construction safety in general construction or closely-related fields.
