FOREMAN SPOTLIGHT – SEPTEMBER 2023

Meet Robert Garcia, a dedicated Kalkreuth Columbus division member since May 2020. Robert’s journey with KRSM began because, in his own words, “Kalkreuth was a good company to work at, to do what I like.” His first project with us was the iconic FC Cincinnati Soccer Stadium – now known as TQL Stadium – where he worked closely with Project Manager Stephen Coyle.

Reflecting on his experiences, Robert cites the FC Cincinnati Soccer Stadium as his most memorable project to date. It was not only one of the longest but also one of the most challenging endeavors he has undertaken. Currently, Robert is making significant progress on the Mustang Data Center in New Albany, Ohio, which is nearly 90% complete. Once Mustang wraps up, he’ll move on to the exciting Cologix Data Center project in Columbus, Ohio.

For Robert, the most rewarding aspect of his role at KRSM is simply doing what he loves. Through his hard work and unwavering commitment, he has seen that dedication pays off over time. One achievement that stands out in his career is having the opportunity to work on several large data center projects, an accomplishment he takes great pride in.

When he’s not on the job, Robert calls Marion, Ohio, home, where he lives with his wife, seven children, and two cats. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his family. Robert Garcia embodies the dedication and passion that makes our KRSM team exceptional, and we’re proud to have him as part of the team.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING WITH CARLISLE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

On September 25th and 26th, our Division Department Managers gathered at the Carlisle Construction Materials training facility for a compelling Leadership Training event. A round of applause for Carlisle as they orchestrated the “Roofing Olympics,” challenging us and fostering our team spirit. A special thanks to Tammy from CCM for sharing her insights with our team.

We were also delighted to welcome back Karen Cates, who generously imparted her wisdom and insight to fortify our company leaders.

Following a day of learning and growth, we retreated to the beautiful Allenberry Resort. Their exceptional hospitality set the stage for our delightful Monday night networking event, where the brilliant team at TCO Fly Shop Boiling Springs captivated us with a fantastic demonstration. We even got the chance to learn the elegant art of fly fishing!

At Kalkreuth, we embrace every opportunity for learning, growth, and collaboration. Thank you to all who made this enriching event possible. Here’s to our continued growth and success as a team!
