NATIONAL INTERN DAY

Today we recognize the valuable contributions of our interns and their role in shaping Kalkreuth’s future. We are thrilled to have such a talented and ambitious group of interns with us this summer, and we want to take this opportunity to appreciate their hard work.

Internships are not merely temporary positions but a pivotal phase in an individual’s career journey. As we provide our interns with meaningful experiences and mentorship, we shape tomorrow’s leaders and invest in our company’s future. Each intern brings fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a thirst for learning, significantly impacting our day-to-day operations.

Lastly, thank you to our entire team for supporting our interns, guiding them, and making them feel like an integral part of our Kalkreuth family. Your mentorship and encouragement make a significant difference in their journey, and we are grateful for your contributions.

Check out what some of our interns had to say about their time with Kalkreuth and East Coast!

KALKREUTH DONATES OVER $300,000 TO EASTERSEALS

We want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the Kalkreuth Vender Invitational and the Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Championship. Without the support, dedication, and enthusiasm of each sponsor, helping hand, participant, and attendee, these annual events wouldn’t be possible. No matter your role, your presence added value to the weekend. This year, Kalkreuth managed to raise $46,674 for Easterseals Rehabilitation Center!

“Kalkreuth continues to enjoy this annual event, and we cherish our partnership with Easterseals. Our ability to make a significant donation to such a charitable life-changing organization that supports so many families right here in the Ohio Valley makes me proud of all the fine employees we have here at Kalkreuth. It’s always been important for Kalkreuth to generously give back to Wheeling’s local community and to institutions like Easterseals that touch the lives of so many children, including many of our own friends and neighbors.” – Jim Hurley

FOREMAN SPOTLIGHT – JULY 2023

This month, we’re featuring two foremen from our Kentucky division – Andre Philpot and Jeremy Calder. This dynamic duo has been working on the UPS 747-8F Maintenance Hangar project in Louisville, Kentucky, which is going very well, according to them. They’re working with a good group of men who stay motivated to meet projected deadlines.

Andre began working for KRSM in April 2013, and his first project was the Jenny Wiley Amphitheatre with Project Manager Stephen Coyle. With just under 30 years of experience, Andre’s most memorable projects have been Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, the Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Grissom Air Reserve Base in North Central Indiana.

“I’ve worked here longer than any place. I love that the PMs listen to my opinions and trust me to run it.”

Andre lives in Berea, Kentucky, and has four kids, four grandchildren, two dogs, and a goat named Darryl. In his spare time, Andre likes to get in a good workout and share funny videos with his friends.

Jeremy began working for KRSM in September 2017, and his first project was Rupp Arena with Project Manager Chase Cupryk. With 13 years of experience, Jeremy’s most memorable projects have been the Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, and App Harvest in Richmond, Kentucky.

“I have enjoyed working for the Lexington, KY Division. KRSM has given me opportunities for advancement and success.”

Jeremy lives in Richmond, Kentucky, and has two kids. When he’s not on job sites, Jeremy is the president of a nonprofit.

“I enjoy volunteering and helping others!”
